Latimer Minster: Sunday Services

The Latimer Minster team and partners currently facilitate and serve a variety of churches and networks each week locally, regionally and globally through online and app-based provision. Several of our team travel widely and speak and lecture in churches and Univeristy settings.

Latimer Minster Sunday morning Chapel services (online and in person) are currently not open to the general public. But our partnership with Stampwell farm means it remains open through most weekends for prayer walking, private reflection and church groups and retreats.

Ezra church, holds a Romanian language service weekly at 2pm at Stampwell Farm, with youth and children’s group provision in English and bi-lingual. There is translation in English available for visitors.

“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Our Values

Latimer Minster is a community which is rooted in values of encountering God, being fruitful in our lives, becoming caught up int he story of God, and hospitality. For the next season, when we are still working with a smaller team, these Sunday services may be especially relevant to those who travel for work and ministry, those who want to worship God in a less institutional framework, and are wanting a chance to recover or be refreshed from trauma and exhaustion. Sermons, poems or talks will be shared by members of the team, details of which will be posted on the Forest Fires app.

Latimer Minster is ecumenical (meaning you can be a member of any denomination or none) but several of those serving in this community are trained and ordained Anglican ministers. It has met at the invitation of owners of Stampwell farm , Frog and Amy Orr-Ewing, is accountable to the Rector and trustees of the Minster Fellowship, and has had the blessing of the local parish incumbents since 2012.

Those wishing to give in a tax efficient way can give directly through the Minster fellowship, or to a restricted fund. Details on this and any other questions can be obtained from the website, in person , or through emailing rector@latimerminster.org
