Youth

At Latimer Minster we really value young people. Every week we have a rhythm of lots of different things going on for 11-18 year olds.

SCHOOLS: We are heavily invested in the schools in the wider area of Beaconsfield (including High Wycombe and Amersham). This schools work includes assemblies, counselling, RE lessons, Christian Unions at lunchtimes, after school clubs, school trips and special events.

SUNDAYS: Our older youth (aged 16+) join the main service in the tent on Sunday mornings. We encourage them to get involved in the life of the Minster and worship with the Church as a whole.

Our younger youth group (aged 9-15) on Sunday mornings is called Ultimate Minsters. We have a great time together doing in depth Bible study, discussion, prayer and enjoying some snacks. This is a great time to learn, grow and engage with God.

THE CHASE: Every Tuesday night from 6:30-7:30pm for 11-15s and 7:45-9:00pm for 16+’s we meet for “The Chase” which is our Youth Minster Community in the Barn at Stampwell. Our vision is to pursue Christ every day and to do so together at church. This is a fun time together built around exploring life in Christ whilst eating and enjoying each other’s company. It is something you can bring your friends to whilst also going deeper into God.

CHRISTGANG: For those aged 8-11 who really want to pursue God and know Him more we have a children’s minster community called “Christ Gang”. It meets each Thursday (term time only) at Applebarn in Gerrards Cross, from 6:45-8pm.We study the Bible and learn about the lives of inspirational heroes. We pray together and have fun. For those who are serious about knowing God as much as possible, this is just for you!

Throughout the year during holiday times we have many adventures, at the farm and further afield: trips, socials, breaks away and festivals! We also have youth services on Sunday evenings a few times a year! It is exciting to be a part of the Minster if you are aged 11-18. You will be stretched and challenged, loved and welcomed; and you will grow. We’d love to welcome you to the Minster Youth life!
