We began our partnership with Hassan Jon in Jos, Nigeria in 2015.
We support Hassan with his church plant (Trinity Minster) and several connected ministries. The community in Jos are at constant threat from radical Muslim terrorists, in a predominantly Muslim area, who have repeatedly destroyed their church building and killed many of the Christian families.
In 2018 we funded the purchase of a tent and new church equipment for the community, which is standing strong, and congregation numbers have risen from 12 to 70.
We continue to provide support for subsequent repairs needed to the tent.
Hassan and his team have been given the opportunity to develop relations with the local youth by teaching English and Maths in the community school. Money towards refurbishing rooms and equipment for this would be helpful.
Trinity Minster has also been following our footsteps by growing vegetables on their land. They would like to purchase some goats and a donkey for the land.
