Vision Sunday 2017 Follow Up…

Dear Minster and Friends,

Last Sunday was an exciting service as we heard about the vision, mission, and values of our church, the unique calling a Minster has, and what we feel God is directing to focus on in this next year together.

For those of you who missed it, do not fear! We recorded the sermon which you can listen to here.

We have also attached the handout you all received, with the PowerPoint slides inserted.

We would love you all to pray for direction, provision and favour for the many plans we have laid out, and welcome your questions and feedback, which you can send to myself at [email protected] or Jane at [email protected]

Upcoming:
Saturday Nights @ the Minster!
Our new Saturday Nights at the Minster are kicking off this Saturday with the Youth Service from 6:30-8pm in the Big Top, led by Ollie Bennett and other youth in the area. We will be praying for this new venture, as well as our younger children, this Friday at 7:30pm in Goliath. Please come along if you can to show support for our rising generation!

New Website!
You may recall on Sunday that Jane spoke about our growth budget, and some of things we would love to implement if giving increases. One of our hopes and urgent needs is to get a new website created and launched ready for Christmas. We receive a lot of traffic on our site and this is a big way we can reach our community and nation- and extend the invitation to belong. To design, build and launch a new website will cost £10,000. If you would like to give (beyond your regular giving) to this project, you can find details in the attached handout of how to give via bacs to our new Barclays bank, and we have attached a standing order form if you do not have online banking. We have also attached a gift aid form which allows us to claim back 25% on what you give, if you are a UK tax payer. Speak to Jane for more details.

See you on Saturday or Sunday.

With love,

Frog
