Stories of Encouragement from the World to Our Generation

Dear Minster and Friends,

What a joy it was to see the farm filled last weekend with visitors and guests for our Bonfire Night. Despite pretty dreadful weather, we were able to ensure that a wonderful community event went ahead for over 300 people.

As we are now into the heart of November, I thought it would be good to list our eyes to the next season of invitation and hospitality that is our Christmas season and services. The flyer is below, but one extra special service we are running, for the first time, is our Outdoor Live Nativity, complete with donkey rides and festive treats afterwards. We will be taken on a journey around the farm, learning about the birth of Jesus.  If you are new to the congregation, it may well be that you hadn’t realised that we get excited about the farm and the church coming together in a special way!

Secondly, I am delighted to let you know about our guest preacher this Sunday, Dr Raphael Anzenberger; a fantastic French preacher, church planter, evangelist and reconciliation expert who will be coming to encourage us all and bring us extra insights and stories from the scriptures, and form what the Lord is doing in other parts of the world…

‘Raphael Anzenberger is an evangelist, speaker and author serving globally, with a passion to raise a new generation of young apostolic leaders. He is Director of (RZIM for the French Speaking world), President of France Evangelisation and CEO of the Global Evangelists Forum. He serves as ambassador at large for the board of the Conseil National des Evangéliques de France (CNEF) and travels extensively as a consultant in evangelism, church planting and leadership. He is Adjunct Professor of Intercultural Studies at Columbia International University (USA) and teaches globally on evangelism, apologetics and missions.’

You are also welcome to join us for the short early communion service at 8.30am if you are unable to make 10.30am this Sunday.

With much love,
